Complete Biography: Peter is a well versed marketer who has spent most of his professional life in corporate graphic arts and advertising. He has been an employer for the past thirty years and during those years he has worked with some of the worlds most affluent companies. He started in graphic arts as an engineer for R.W.Crabtree and Sons, a British printing equipment manufacturer. His work required extensive travel throughout the United States meeting with Americas most elite printing companies. One such company hired Peter as Vice President of Sales for New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. He soon got the attention of the sales promotion directors for companies such as: American Airlines, IBM, Mobile Oil, Lever Brothers, Winchester and Volkswagen of America. In the mid-seventies Peter opened his own graphic arts service company and managed that business until it sold in the mid-eighties when he and his family moved to Florida. Within a year Peter opened Marketing Design Concepts, Inc., known today as Introspectives, Inc. Peter and the companies he has owned have been responsible for some hefty production throughout the years. For instance, he was one of the few people involved with the genesis of the American Way magazine. Also, while involved with American Airlines, it was one of his responsibilities was to conceptualize Americans point-of purchase materials and he was responsible for most of the printed materials that ended-up in the airplanes cabin. More recently, IBM awarded his Florida company the corporate identify package for an educational company owned by IBM called Eduquest. In addition, his company made it possible for IBM to meet its launch date for its OS2 product. His agency prepared all of the necessary artwork for the softwares manuals and delivered printer ready color separated film to their printers around the world within the agreed 17 day schedule. He is equally at home in the roll of producer/director and in that roll he created a world class corporate safety show for Exxon Company USA. Additionally, he was responsible for all of the visual graphic presentations that Exxon executives required when reporting to Exxons top management. Motorola engaged his company to create the image for its monthly news magazine titled INFOLINE and he subsequently produced the magazine until Motorola went electronic with this media. When NEC Chicago developed a new computer that deploys automobile air bags it need a producer who could quickly grasp the importance of their breakthrough. It needed this producer to create a presentation that would effectively sell it's system to automobile manufactures. The opportunity presented itself and there was two huge obstacles -- there was very little time and virtually no product information. To make matters worse the client would mostly be in Japan and there were budget constraints. Peter went into overdrive. Within four days he was in Chicago presenting three distinctly different story-boards each with its own budget. NEC awarded his efforts and within 10 weeks he delivered a 20 minute audio visual presentation that he wrote, directed and produced -- It subsequently earned NEC millions of dollars in contracts and the system has now become the industry standard. Further discussions with Peter revealed other clients and the diversity of his conceptual skills. For instance, he created a 3000 square foot point of sale exhibit titled "The Relaxation Center" that he designed, manufactured and installed in Ethan Allens New York headquarters. The client essentially duplicated the display and installed a Relaxation Center in each of its showrooms. Texaco needed a visual presentation depicting the journey that crude oil takes when it leaves the Middle East and arrives in the Gulf of Mexico. The company wanted to show how the crude is pumped off the tanker into the LOOP and then into the refinery and final underground to distribution points. High school children would be viewing the project so apart from being informative it had to be entertaining...They chose Peter. Perkin Elmer, GE, Previews, Coats and Clark, Iberia Airlines, Compton Advertising, Family Circle, Swerdlow Companies and Cadbury Schweppes are all companies that have enjoyed Peters creativity...Maybe now it is your time.
